Wildlife Enclosure I in Neuschönau
In wildlife area I of the national park, you will have the chance to observe two lynxes and their cubs, born in the summer of 2007. Apart from the lynxes, it is also home to 34 other kinds of native or once-native animal species such as wolves, bears, otters, pine martens, European bison, red deer, wild boars, striges and eagle owls. They live in our spacious and near-natural enclosures, nestled into the varied wooded landscape of the Bavarian Forest. Wildlife Enclosure II near Ludwigsthal
Since the spring of 2007, two other lynxes have also been living in the national park’s newly-opened wildlife area II. Wolves, Przewalski horses and wild cattle are among the various animals that can be sighted within our near-natural spacious enclosures.
