The Scientific Advisory Board of the lynx / red deer / roe deer project is composed of twelve scientists from nine research institutes in three different countries (the Technical University of Munich, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich, the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna, the University of Freiburg, the Weihenstephan University of Applied Sciences, the Swiss Research Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape, the Swiss National Park, the Institute for Zoo and Wildlife Research in Berlin, KORA Switzerland).
The board was first convened in July 2006 to present the cross-border research project on predator-prey-relationships between lynxes, roe deer and red deer to a scientific committee, and to discuss project objectives and project execution. The Scientific Advisory Board has followed the project since then, and is to evaluate its progress each year. The second meeting took place in February 2007.
